Las Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy raw materials like starch, cheese, eggs, lard, and other ingredients.

Las Unidas Group's story

This committee is called Las Unidas. They all help each other to be able to provide a better quality of life to their families, so that they won't have to experience need of any type. They are also in the poverty elimination program.

Antonia is one of them. She makes and sells chipas, a traditional Paraguayan food. She says that her business is modest, but that it has allowed her to help her family and meet all of their daily needs. Antonia defines herself as a hardworking person who fights for her loved ones so that she can provide them with a decent life without need. She is happy to be a part of the group. It will be a big help for her in continuing to grow and improve in her business.

She is asking for this loan to buy various products so that she can continue making her chipas, like starch, cheese, eggs, lard, and other ingredients.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because they were avoiding the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
