Marta's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase deworming medication, vitamins and concentrated feed to optimize her farm's pig and poultry care.

Marta's story

Marta is married and has two children. She lives with her husband and one daughter, age 9. Her other child is grown and lives abroad. Marta’s business is raising domesticated animals such as pigs and poultry. She sells the animals to generate income and help take care of her household’s expenses. Marta has more than 20 years of experience in this type of business because she learned the trade from her mother when she was a child.

Marta is applying for another loan because she needs working capital to boost her livestock raising business. The investment will consist of purchasing deworming medication, vitamins, and concentrated feed to optimize the care of the pigs and poultry in her farm's inventory.

The purpose of Marta’s investment is to have robust and healthy animals to sell because she will then be able to sell them at better prices.

Marta’s goal is to keep working to generate extra income to help pay for more of the household expenses.
