Carmen Pilar's story

Carmen Pilar and her family live in the Montecristi canton, known for its rich precolonial culture and its handicrafts. It's a place where many continue to be affected by Covid-19.

She is a hard-working woman who looks for a way to earn her own income, and, despite difficulties, continues getting ahead thanks to the loans that have been a lot of help.

She works selling clothing and Avon, Yanbal, and Oriflame products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfume, and ladies' accessories). She goes out to sell throughout the city. She also sells in her house and over the phone. She sells on credit and collects every 8 days. In this way, despite the fear of getting sick that she still feels, she does her sales, as it's how she's able to earn her living.

This loan is for buying pants, shirts, blouses, perfumes, creams, and other products to sell.
