A loan helped to connect her house to a gas pipeline which will improve her living conditions.

Olga's story

Olga is a 69-year-old woman from Alexandresti village, Riscani region of Moldova. She is an energetic pensioner who loves rural life. Her pension is small and therefore she works in a company that collects milk as a collector.

Olga has 2 milking cows in her household. The dairy products she gets are of superior quality and for this reason they sell quickly. The money she gets after selling dairy products gives her the opportunity to have extra income for maintenance. Olga knows the technology of raising animals and the quality of dairy products, which helps her a lot in hard work.

Olga lives in her own house where she has invested all her life in real estate. She never had the opportunity to connect the house to a gas pipeline because it is expensive. Now in the village, connection and installation works are being carried out. Olga really wants to connect her house to the gas pipeline to make her work easier and create better living conditions. However, as she does not have enough money, Olga decided to ask a loan from Kiva. As a result of this loan, she will be able to connect the house to the gas pipeline and will lead a decent life for a pensioner.
