Miriam's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to gain access to cost-efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for crop cultivation for this woman with a good credit history.

Miriam's story

As 2021 is almost halfway, Miriam, 21, has made some resolutions, and one of them is to close the year on a high by increasing her farming. She lives in the Sotik area of Kenya. She is blessed with a lovely family, who are her greatest motivators. She perseveres because she wants to provide them with a better future.

Miriam has always liked farming. She is a very proud farmer, especially when she is milking her cows. She also keeps other animals on her farm and practices crop farming, but she has not been making good profits because of poor farming inputs.

She is seeking a loan to buy improved farm inputs. Through the loan, she will be able to purchase high-quality seeds, good fertilizer, and pesticides that she will use to greatly improve her crop production.

Modern farming requires the use of modern techniques, and high-quality seeds will ensure a bumper harvest and increased profits. Miriam is very forward-looking, and her goal for the season is to boost her crop production over the previous planting season. All this can be achieved through lenders’ help and goodwill.
