Adelia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more fuel and expand her business to get more people to buy her fuel.

Adelia's story

Adelia is 35 years old and married. She's a talented woman with a good understanding of business. She has a small and handmade fuel station which she's been running for three years with her own capital.

It is a very common activity for people to sell fuel in bottles by the road in East Timor due to the lack of big fuel stations. Adelia's station is well located next to the main road linking her village to others, so people come daily to buy her fuel. The business is very important to Adelia because since she first started, it's improved her family's life.

She has previously borrowed (her first post in Kiva) and repaid all of her loan on time and now she is requesting a $1600 loan through KIF to buy more fuel and expand her business to get more people to buy her fuel. Adelia thanks all lenders for the opportunity.
