Lesbia Teodora's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fruit, rice, beans, and corn.

Lesbia Teodora's story

The freshest and most seasonal fruits can be found at Lesbia's place of sales, which is located in her community market. She sells bananas, watermelon, plums, mangos, melon, and agave. She also sells traditional breakfasts accompanied by “coffee” made of toasted maize or soft drinks.

With her previous loan she managed to buy cases of fruit wholesale and vegetables like squash, carrots, cassava, yams, and onions.

In order to continue growing with her business, she requested a loan from Micrédito together with the support of Kiva in order to once again buy fruits and basic grains to make her delicious breakfasts. She will buy things like rice, beans, and corn. In the near future she wishes to improve her establishment in order to sell ripe and unripe bananas.
