Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This group is called "Mujeres Unidas" [united women] because that is what they are. They seeks the means to be able to continue improving together, and to be able to help their families through everyone working together. Also, they are included in the program for the elimination of poverty, where they seek the means to be able to grow and to improve in a united way.

One of them is Gloria, who works making and selling food. She has a modest business where she works every day, starting early in the morning. She says that, although her business is small, it allows her to cover the needs of her household and her loved ones. It is for them that she fights, so that they lack nothing and do not go without necessities.

She requests this loan to buy supplies to make food, such as flour, eggs, butter, salt, seasonings, meat, chicken, and other products.

Note: Although there is only one person in the photo, this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo, to avoid gathering people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
