Mujeres Alegres Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy meat cuts in large amounts to sell.

Mujeres Alegres Group's story

This group has been working together for 39 cycles. Its members help each other and look for ways to constantly improve themselves. They are also part of the program for the elimination of poverty, and they fight to grow and move forward.

Eva is one of them. She owns a butcher shop, where she sells a variety of fresh products to her customers. She says that her business is going well and that she has a loyal clientele.

Eva describes herself as a selfless person, who doesn't let difficulties overcome her. She wants to find a way to continue giving a good life to her loved ones.

She requests this loan to buy large quantities of meat cuts. These will allow her to continue working, supply her store and, at the same time, support her family.

NB: the photo features only one person, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo because of the need to avoid the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
