Ofelia Evelin's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy newborn chicks and concentrated feeds, an investment in enlarging the inventory of her farm.

Ofelia Evelin's story

Ofelia is married and has two children, who are 15 and 9 years of age. She lives with her family group and has two financial dependents. She does not have relatives living abroad.

Ofelia engages in raising and fattening broiler chickens to sell, in order to obtain income to cover the family's expenses. She opened this business five years ago, and it is an activity that she learned to develop with the help of a friend. Ofelia works every day.

The difficulty that she has had in her business is that because of the quarantines that were established in El Salvador, to prevent infections with the COVID 19 virus, her sales and income dropped considerably.

She is requesting a loan to strengthen her business and thus recover financially. With this working capital, she will buy newborn chicks and concentrated feeds. The investment will enable her to enlarge the inventory of her farm, maintaining the stability of her business activity. She will also be able to increase her sales.

Her aspirations are to have a bigger business and financial stability.
