Carmita's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase pigs and chickens, and feed for raising them.

Carmita's story

Carmita is a charismatic and optimistic 33-year old woman. She lives with her younger son in the neighborhood Jardín del Norte in the city of San Gabriel. Carmita is a widow and since the tragic loss of her husband, she has worked hard to help her children get ahead. She is satisfied knowing she has done everything she can to support them with her resources.

Carmita is very hard-working. She sells food on the weekends and from Monday to Thursday, she sells vegetables. She also makes a living raising pigs, guinea pigs, and chickens. To support her business, she has always counted on the help of Banco Vision Fund Ecuador and has been doing so for the past eight years. She is now looking for a new loan to purchase more pigs, chickens, and feed for them. This will allow her to continue working so she can support her last child's education.
