Abiebatu's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 33-year-old Abiebatu from Wilberforce branch. She is a married woman who started this business to care for herself and support her family.

Abiebatu runs a retail business and sells cookery and other assorted items. She has been in this business for three years now. Her other source of income is from her husband’s business. Her main challenge is slow sales sometimes during this COVID 19.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase food stuffs like rice, palm oil, fish, and other assorted items to increase her business. Abiebatu says that the extra income from this loan will help to improve her business and take care of her family welfare.

In the future, she would like to establish to a larger scale. She says thanks to Brac and Kiva for their support.
