Tarxis Rachelle's story

Tarxis Rachelle gets up every day with the sole objective of getting ahead to cover her family's expenses. She's a 30-year-old young mother, hardworking and with a desire for improvement.

She works selling footwear and imported clothing. She decided to start her business importing merchandise from Colombia with a small amount of capital she had saved. Her sister and her mother help her run the business, which has been in operation for four years now.

Tarxis Rachelle has decided on a Kiva loan with MiCrédito to buy new merchandise to expand her inventory so she can offer a wider variety of products.

She wants her business to be known throughout Costa Rica for supplying small and medium-sized shopkeepers.

Tarxis sees herself with two stable clothing and shoe stores in the near future.
