Som-Noma's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy 45 bags of corn and save up some money to take care of her family.
Som-Noma is the mother of five children, three of whom go to school. She has been a shopkeeper in a neighborhood in town for five years, where she buys cereals and onions, stocks them and resells them at the right moment. This is currently her fifth loan cycle with YIKRI and she successfully paid back her first Kiva loan. She applied for a new loan to buy 45 bags of corn to increase her stock of merchandise. She will reinvest part of her earnings to expand her business and the remainder will be used to save up to take care of her family. She wishes everyone to stay safe from the Covid-19 virus.
