San Sebastian Del Tepeyac Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies like fabric, thread, and lace. She will invest another part of it in buying a sewing machine.

San Sebastian Del Tepeyac Group's story

Angie Kendy (seated, in a gray sweater and jeans) is a 20-yearold woman. She and her friends in the SAN SEBASTIAN DE TEPEYAC communal bank, managed by Pro Mujer in Nicaragua, aspire to improving their diverse and independent businesses. These are selling cosmetics, selling clothing, food stalls, and her business, which is running a small sewing workshop.

Angie is the secretary of her communal association. Her partner works in agriculture. For now, she has no children, so she is focused on learning about sewing.

“I see myself with big workshop, my own locale and a lot of customers” she tells us. A new loan will allow Angie to build her dreams. She will buy supplies like fabric, thread, and lace. She will invest another part in a sewing machine.
