Amahoro Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cooking oil, soap, rice, and sugar.

Amahoro Cb Group's story

Sandrine is a 39-year-old mother of five children between the ages of 2 and 16. Her husband is a businessman. For the past 13 years, she has been managing a grocery store.

Sandrine is the leader of the group named Amahoro CB, which means “peace” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Sandrine will use her portion of the loan to buy more cooking oil, soap, rice, and sugar to sell in her community so that she can meet the demands of her customers. With the profits for her sales, she plans to furnish her house.

Sandrine is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
