Massa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more slippers to sell.

Massa's story

Massa is 39 years old and from Liberia. She is a single mother with two kids, aged 12 and 17 years. Both are currently in school and live at home. Massa attended school up to the ninth grade.

She owns a business selling slippers. For past five years, she has won a lot of customers to patronize her business. She started the business with her own savings and her mother taught her how to sell. She has no problem with her business and uses a car to transport supplies to her business site.

Massa has asked for a loan to buy more slippers to sell in order to meet her customers' demands, hence increasing her income. She will use the anticipated income to support her children.

In the future, she wants to build a house and continue her children's education. She is grateful to Kiva and lenders for the financial support rendered.
