Edenilson Aldair's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clay, wood, sand and other materials to continue making roof tiles.

Edenilson Aldair's story

Edenilson lives with his 83-yeal-old grandma, his 19-year-old sister and a 40-year-old aunt. He mentions that his parents passed away and he doesn't have relatives that live abroad.

Edenilson is the owner of a handcrafted mud roofing tile manufacturer; he opened this business three years ago. He works with a cousin, and they work on a schedule from 3:00 am to 10:00 am. The process for making the roof tiles is completely by hand, which means that his cousin prepares a homogenous paste with clay and water that is molded and then set to rest in the sun for three days. Finally, he cooks the pieces in a handcrafted oven. He learned this work from his grandpa.

He is requesting a loan to restock the inventory of his business. With the loan funds he will be able to buy clay, wood, sand and other materials to continue making roof tiles. The investment will help him to continue working in his business and in this way generating an income to support his family. His dreams are to grow his business and to have better financial conditions to build his own house.
