Mujeres Con Espiritu Activo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase vegetables, bread, fruit, bottled beverages, meat, and more. She will also purchase the basic ingredients needed to make corn cakes.

Mujeres Con Espiritu Activo Group's story

This committee is called "Women with Active Spirits" since one must have an active spirit to be able to work together and achieve all of their proposed goals. This committee works with the help offered by the Paraguayan foundation.

Ana is one woman on this committee. She makes a living in sales. She has a store with all sorts of products and she also makes and sells corn cakes. Corn cakes are a typical food consumed throughout the year. She says that she has grown a client base because everything she makes is delicious and to her clients' tastes.

Ana and the other members of the group are part of a poverty-elimination program and are fighting to overcome challenges and get ahead.

She is requesting this loan to purchase various products for her store, such as: vegetables, bread, fruit, bottled beverages, meat, and more. She also needs the basic ingredients for corn cakes.

In the photo, only one person appears, but this is a group loan. It wasn't possible to take a group photo due to COVID-19 restrictions.
