Twisungane Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sorghum.

Twisungane Cb Group's story

Marie is a 40-year-old mother of four children aged between 10 and 19 years. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past six years, Marie has been selling foodstuffs.

Marie is the leader of the group named TWISUNGANE CB (which in English means “let us come together and help each other"). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie will use her loan to buy more sorghum to sell at the marketplace. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for her family as well as increase her savings.

Marie is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members but was able to photograph one representative.
