Kelenya Group's story

His name is Kadri, the one who is seated next to his sheep. He is Malian, married, 48 years old and the father of 12 children, six of whom are in school. He is a farmer and raises animals. His business consists of buying sheep, raising them for several months, and selling them for a profit. He states that after each head sold he can have 25,000 FCFA, or more, for a profit. The profit is invested in caring for the family, in (food, school fees, medical care, shoes and clothes) and the rest in his business. He has been running this business, raising animals, for about seven years and buys his sheep at the local market and resells them, sometimes at another market. The problem which he faces is the high price of the animal feed. As part of expanding the volume of his business, he turned to RMCR to receive a loan. He hopes to establish a herd for his children.
