Adama's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 36-year-old Adama from Wilberforce branch. She is married with two children between the ages of 10 and 12 years old and all are currently attending school. She started this business because she wants to take care of her family.

Adama runs a retail table business and sells foodstuffs, provisions and other assorted items to her customers around the community. Her other source of income is from her husband. She has been in this business for the past 10 years. Adama says her business is going on well without any challenge.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more foodstuffs, provisions and other assorted items to increase her business. Adama says that the extra income from this loan will help her to take care of her family and to increase her business. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale.
