Sally's story

Sally is a 50-year-old mother of one child living in Eldoret, a town that was significantly struck by the 2007–2008 Kenyan crisis. She is a mixed dairy and crop farmer with eight years of experience.

The COVID-19 pandemic posed a significant threat to the economy of Kenya, causing lots of uncertainty and disrupting food-supply chains. Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, is on the frontline in combating this pandemic by supporting smallholder farmers and micro-entrepreneurs during this difficult period.

Sally is seeking a loan to buy farming inputs, which she will use to improve her production and make more income to support her family. Support her at this time when the world is focused on combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
