Manantial De Cristo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase clothes for resale and ingredients for her food stand.

Manantial De Cristo Group's story

Living in a squatter zone, Daisy, a single mother of four, fights to provide for her family. She is grateful and strong despite all the odds being against her and her family.

Daisy buys clothing in bulk to resell in her community and also makes homemade, traditional Paraguayan foods. Her businesses are incredibly important to her as they allow her to provide for her family while also staying home with her children, one of whom suffers from a chronic heart condition.

Daisy dreams of increasing her sales every day and is working hard to see that happen. Others in her group sell cleaning products, offer in-home and commercial cleaning services, or sell traditional fast foods.

Due to strict social gathering restrictions in Paraguay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Daisy's group cannot meet regularly, so she is the only one who appears in their group profile photo.
