Clarice's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase hybrid seeds and fertilizer to improve her maize harvest.

Clarice's Group's story

Pictured above is Clarice, often described as an extremely experienced farmer. She is 59 years old and has 7 children. As its leader, she is representing her group of 10 farmers in Alego District, Kenya.

Clarice is returning this season to work with One Acre Fund again as this means that she is able to earn enough to feed her family, which is why she decided to join in the first place.

Clarice says that she is happy to have made that decision because, since she first joined in 2017, she has been able to feed her family consistently, which has improved her day-to-day life significantly. Clarice will use the profits from this season to buy a cow.

The group will use this loan to purchase seeds and fertilizer to plant a total of 5.25 acres.
