Mirima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business and to purchase carving knifes, varnish, sandpaper, a chisel, gouges, parting and veining tools and flutters, a riffle, a leather thumb guard, and palm tools.

Mirima's story

Mirima has been in the wood carving business and has seen high returns as an artist. She sells at the local handicraft centre and is a member of the Fiji Arts Council.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fijian economy has suffered a recession which has resulted in 20% negative growth. Women entrepreneurs have been struggling as a result, and Mirima is not an exception.

Mirima seeks a loan to expand her business operations and to purchase carving knifes, varnish, sandpaper, a chisel, gouges, bent and spoon gouges, parting and veining tools and fluters, a riffler, a leather thumb guard and palm tools.

Securing a loan will help her to stay financially adapt during these trying times.
