Almagul's story

This wonderful woman is Almagul. She is 57 and married and lives in the Tyup district. This region is very well suited to agriculture. Her family runs an inspiring farm with seven cows, four sheep and a horse. She also has 2.7 hectares of land where she grows barley and alfalfa. She puts all her strength into keeping the farm at a productive level, as their income strongly depends on it. For the past 30 years, income from sales have been her main source of income.

Almagul has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 220,000 KGS to buy steers to expand her farm. This will help her raise the productivity of their farm and, consequently, their income. She hopes to achieve her goals and to create a better future for her wonderful children.
