Yembi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy one steer, four sheep, and complete feed, and to save in order to take care of his children's education.
Yembi is 65 years old and the father of five children, four of whom go to school. He has raised ruminants for more than 10 years in an area on the outskirts of the capital. He is on his third loan with the Yikri microfinance institution and paid back his first Kiva loan. He has requested a loan to buy one steer, four sheep, and complete feed, so he can raise his animals well. This is with the plan of reselling them at the right time and making a big profit. He plans on using his profits to reinvest in his animal raising, and to save to take care of his children's education. He encourages everyone to protect themselves from COVID-19.
