Abahizi Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more beans, sugar, salt and soap.

Abahizi Cb Group's story

Emilienne is a 28-year-old mother of three children, aged between 1 and 9 years. Her husband is a businessman. For the past eight years, she has owned a shop in her community, trying to make ends meet.

Emilienne is the leader of the group named Abahizi Cb, which in English means “great people”. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within the community and outside their community.

Emilienne will use her loan to stock up her business by buying more beans, sugar, salt and soap to sell within her community. She hopes that the profits from her sales will enable her to grow her business, and also that she will be able to pay school fees for their children.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members but was able to photograph one representative.
