Mercy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farm supplies and seeds to improve her farm, make more profits, and assure her children of a great future.

Mercy's story

Achieving a comfortable lifestyle has always been Mercy's (27 year old mom) dream. She is a smallholder farmer who works with a lot of care and perseverance to achieve her objective.

Today, she has a farm where she grows crops and raises livestock. She also earns some income from a personal business. Mercy never had a formal college education and is content with the farming lifestyle.

Though she dearly loves crop farming, her farm is at risk of attack by crop pests and diseases. To a poor rural farmer, treatment of crop diseases requires an increase in the total operational costs to the extent that, in most cases, the amount of capital invested to produce a desired yield surpasses the output harvested.

The remedy is to use certified seeds that are resistant to pests and diseases. That is why Mercy is seeking a loan to buy farm supplies and seeds to improve her farm. With the loan, she will be assured of a good harvest, and this will translate into more profits and income.

She wants what any mother would want for her children, a great future. Mercy thanks you wholeheartedly in advance.
