Rodah's story

Rodah is a 53-year-old widowed mother of 2 school going children who lives in Kenyenya, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands which favor large-scale grain farming.

Rodah has practiced tree planting and mixed farming for the last many years. Every minute, she recalls that the best decision she made in her life was to take on farming.

In the modern world, agriculture has become exceedingly dynamic, which therefore requiring upgrading the kind of inputs that are being used in the sector today. On this note, there is a need to use improved farming inputs for effective production.

With the loan, Rodah will be able to buy high-quality seeds and fertilizers and expand her crop farm. This will increase her income, which she will use to support her children's education.

Rodah is a visionary. Her goal for the season is to boost her crop production and be able to get more crop output than in previous years. She believes that, through the loan, she will turn around her family life and be able to give her children a solid educational background.
