Ccahuasana Alta Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to maintain the plot of cacao and remove bad weeds, use compost, and clear the land in order to strengthen the cacao plants.

Ccahuasana Alta Group's story

The communal bank CCAHUASANA ALTA consists of 16 members, with Víctor as president and representative of the ACPD. This is their eighth cycle and they feel happy for continuing to get ahead.

The group is managed by a board of directors. Representing the ACPD in the photo are the president, treasurer and secretary.

Víctor, 48, has three children who are his reason to get ahead and continue improving. He has worked in agriculture for more than 20 years, farming cacao and barbasco. During yucca and plantain season he also invests in those products to be able to offer his customers.

He works as a day laborer in other plots of land to improve his economic situation. This is why he wants to maintain the plot of cacao and remove bad weeds, use compost, and clear the land in order to strengthen the cacao plants.

In the future he wants to buy land to invest in farming and continue providing quality products for his customers. He considers himself a hardworking, early-riser, and responsible man.
