01_Ndianda Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fish products to resell.

01_Ndianda Group's story

These determined women are part of the group established in their area in November 2011. They are from the same village and share true values of friendship and solidarity. They have always repaid the loans they received without any problems.

Sokhna Coumba is the group's representative, standing at the far right in the photo with her hand raised. She is 59 years old, widowed and the mother of three children, including two girls, one of whom is a student, and a boy who is in high school.

Sokhna Coumba is involved in retail sales of various food products (smoked fish and other seafood, etc.). She gets her supplies from the wholesalers at the fishing pier and resells at her home. She has more than 10 years of solid experience.

She wants to use this loan to buy smoked and dried fish and shellfish. Her business is doing well because she resells in other areas where the product is scarce.

The profits from the sales will allow her to pay for her expenses, increase her savings and pay for her children's education.
