Akamahoro Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more Irish potatoes.

Akamahoro Tcb Group's story

Emerthe is a 46-year-old mother of four children aged between 12 and 25 years. Her husband is a poultry farmer, and for the past six years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group named Akamahoro TCB, which in English means “Place where the group is located". Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Emerthe will use her loan to buy more Irish potatoes to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide school fees for the children and also provide for the family.

Emerthe is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
