Eulalia Patricia's story

Eulalia Patricia and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016, and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in its production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Eulalia Patricia used a space in her house to open a small store selling assorted consumer products, such as rice, sugar, oil, sodas, water, prepared juices, etc. She works every day to meet the needs of her clients.

Additionally, in the afternoons, she makes hamburgers. In general, the majority of her clients are her neighbors.

At the beginning, social distancing left her without work due to the fear of contagion, but she's currently complying with the health-security protocols.

This loan is for buying sodas, water, ground meat, bread, rice, etc.

Her dream is to have a larger store, and that her family not become sick, but rather, enjoy good health.
