Yondeme Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy animals to resell and support her family.

Yondeme Group's story

Aminata is the president of her group and is representing her fellow members here due to Covid-19 restrictions. She is 37 years old and is married with six children, aged between 3 and 15. They do not go to school. Her husband is a crop farmer, but also rears some livestock to look after his family.

Aminata has been doing this work for eight years. She purchases from and sells at fairs in her local area. She can earn between 15,000-20,000 CFA in profit per animal. With animal sales she manages to meet her family's needs and her children's medical costs. She has three sheep which she looks after with plenty of veterinary care. She is a generous person and has a good reputation in her village.

Aminata would like to have a larger loan to grow her livestock activity.
