A loan helped to pay for construction to renovate his old house.

Pros's story

Pros, aged 23, is an experienced construction worker from a rural village of Kiri Vong district, Takeo province. He has been working in the construction business for more than three years and also works as a paid laborer for additional income. He has a common-law relationship with his wife, who is a loving mother of one child.

His wife is enhancing the family's income by having the occupation of cultivating rice crops and other agriculture products seasonally. Every day, his wife plants and supplies enough seeds and fertilizer to rice crops and other agricultural crops by spending more than eight hours at the farmlands. The farming business is the main source of his family's economics.

With his hard effort, Pros can earn approximately USD 8 per day, which will have to cover expenses for daily meals, clothes, medicine, and for other necessary needs.

Because of the shortage of finances, he has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 1,000 to pay for construction to renovate his old house. With this loan support, he will have money to purchase construction supplies, such as bricks, zinc and cement, and to pay for laborers.

This renovation is very important for his family members to protect them and so that they can live with a comfortable living standard and good environment. It can also protect his family members from the crisis of climate change, such as rain.

He sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help a poor fellow like him.
