A loan helped to buy sheep for resale and to take care of her family.

Seniwe Group's story

Maria is alone in the photo because of COVID. She is a 49-year-old married mother of nine children, five of whom are in school. Her husband is a farmer. She uses RMCR loans to increase the volume of her sheep farming business. Maria is passionate about herding sheep because she really likes this work and she finds it very beneficial.

Her dream is to help him with the management of family expenses and also to pay school fees for her children in order to be self-sufficient.

She buys sheep to resell in her village and the surrounding markets where she can profit 50,000F at the end of the cycle.

The obstacles that she encounters are often cases of animal sickness and also falling prices at the market.
