8 Mil Bertoni Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cassava flour, eggs, shortening, salt, and other ingredients.

8 Mil Bertoni Group's story

The committee named “8 Mil Bertoni” is a group that is starting its first loan cycle with the Women’s Committee Program with Fundación Paraguaya. Their goal is to invest more into their activities so that they can continue growing their businesses.

One of the members is Sra. Luisa, who makes and sells cheese bread, which is a traditional Paraguayan food that is consumed throughout the year. She is an enterprising person who looks to keep improving so that she can provide a decent life for her loved ones without hardship.

Luisa is requesting a loan to buy supplies for making cheese bread such as cassava flour, eggs, shortening, salt, and other ingredients. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this group, since it will be a great help.

Note: The photo shows only one person, even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
