Linda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped an online grocery store owner secure a storefront and expand her African/Caribbean grocery store.
As a teenager in a Ghanaian boarding school, my dad asked what career I wanted to pursue. I quickly responded, I want to be a nurse or a caterer! He proceeded to tell me that nurses make a good living in America, where he had migrated to when I was of tender age. I since have migrated to America and been a nurse for the past 16 years. I have also been cooking and giving and/or selling to friends and family. I am so passionate about this that I decided to officially register Nhyira International Market and start it as an online business. It has come to a point where I feel Id better serve my community by bringing the first African grocery store to my town, as the African population continues to grow. Being able to get this loan will allow me to obtain a storefront, buy equipment, inventory, as well as market and promote Nhyira International Market.
