Gabriel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped on buying equipment and the programming.
In 2006, while working for my dad at his engineering firm in Puerto Rico and studying civil engineering, I constantly used Google Earth (GE) for projects. While working with GE, it suddenly crossed my mind that I could use it as a marketing tool for projects, opening a door to the "tech" world. I rapidly created my first startup in partnership with my best friend Pedro called "Invirtuale", a 3D and immersive listing for real-state. A few years later, Pedro and I created a new startup called "SearchIn3D", pretty much the same concept as the previous one but now focusing on restaurants and hotels. Quickly after launching "SearchIn3D", we were acquired by the biggest daily-deal site of Puerto Rico called "Gustazos". With this new partnership, we became the biggest live-streaming, immersive content creators and programmed many Web, mobile, and Virtual Reality applications. In 2017, I met Sheila, owner of a special education school focused on autism. While talking, she commented on the dire necessity she had on finding a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students and her school staff... and that's where the first idea of Telecubes was born. After Hurricane María, I saw myself forced to take a job as IT in a school for autism in New York. That's when I actually found time to really dedicate myself to creating a solution to this problem. In May 2018, I partnered with Sheila, and with both of our expertise and passion to help and make a difference for those who need it, we created and brought to life "Telecubes", a real-time web platform for special education that is currently improving the lives of children in Puerto Rico. I am a visionary with an "imagineering" mind that loves to solve problems to help others.
