A loan helped to buy certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to expand her crop farm.

Mary's story

Mary (pictured above) is a 56-year-old living in Nandihills-Kenya, which is by far one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions. She is a mixed dairy and crop farmer who injects passion and determination into her work.

Mary is seeking a loan of 100,000 KES to buy certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to expand her crop farm. By scaling her business, she will relatively reduce production costs and increase her output. Her strategy is to use the returns from the investment to pay for more farm inputs. A lack of farm inputs has been a major problem that leads to the closing of many farms due to poor quantity and quality of yields. Mary should, therefore, be able to increase her profits. This will elevate her standard of living. Kindly lend to her!
