Yecenia's story

Yecenia is a 41-year-old microentrepreneur, residing in the city of Cartagena. She has an internet and variety items store business. Her business started one year ago when she separated from her husband. With some savings, she acquired a photocopier and later a computer to make transcripts and impressions. She provides for her family's well-being with this business, and her impact is noticeable.

Due to the pandemic, her sales and income were affected. Thanks to the economy restarting, her sales are on the rise, which is why she seeks to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 and is currently applying for a Kiva loan, her first financing through the Santo Domingo Foundation, to invest in the purchase of a reams of paper, pencils, pens, manila envelopes, cardboard, confectionery, etc.

Support her loan; it will be a success.
