Vistoso Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped do the maintenance and setting-up of her parcel of cacao, with the goal of providing a better product to her customers and having a better income.

Vistoso Group's story

Vistoso is an old group. This is the second opportunity for taking out a loan through Kiva. It is made up of 12 members who are very united and responsible. There are three members representing the group in the photo due to pandemic fears, and they are part of the board of directors. Yen is the president, and then there is the treasurer and secretary. They all have the common goal of continuing to move forward.

Yen is 22 years old. She is a hard-working woman and a single mother who likes to progress with the support of the communal bank, which is her current group.

Her little one is 5 years old, and is her inspiration to continue forward. For many years she has worked in agriculture, and she is always improving and diversifying her products in accordance with the season. She grows barbasco [an evergreen bush] and cacao, among other crops.

Besides, Yen always has extra work in the working group, as a day laborer supporting in the maintenance of other parcels.

At this time, she needs to do the maintenance and setting-up of her parcel of cacao, with the goal of providing a better product to her customers and having a better income.

In the future, Yen would like to buy agricultural land to expand her production and to have a happy old age.
