Grupo La Luz Group's story

Grupo la Luz is a communal association from Masaya, Nicaragua. They are enterprising women who work butchering pigs, in shoe repair, grocery stores, selling food, enchiladas, bread, among others.

Joseling, in the middle of the picture with a blue dress with flowers, is one of the leaders. She is 21 years old, has a 4-year-old daughter, and also shares her time leading the group.

Thanks to loans, Joseling started her business butchering pigs. Her goal is to have a pig's farm. Meanwhile, she will use the new loan to buy three pigs to fatter and butcher.
