01_Nianing Santhie Group's story

This group made up of five women is part of the banc villageois established in the region in August 2008. They live in the same village and maintain strong relationships. They primarily run businesses selling various items.

Anna, the representative, on the far-right of the photo and with her arm raised, is fifty-nine years old. She is married and the mother of three children including one son. Anna runs a small business selling various products (grain products, peanuts, and sea shells according to market availability). She has a canteen and boasts over fifteen years of experience in this industry.

With her loan, she plans to buy millet and peanuts to resell and she also gathers shells on the sea shore that she sells and that are used in construction. She has a faithful customer base and offers high-quality products. The profits earned will help to develop her business and strengthen her savings within the banc villageois.
