Docile Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on rice, flour, and sugar which will boost her initial capital.

Docile Group's story

Mme Sylvie is a customer of Hekima IMF and presides over the group villageoise Docile. She is a 41 year old widow and a mother of 5 children who are all in school.

Mme Sylvie sells food products and launched her business 6 years ago with capital accumulated from her previous business activities. Later, she turned to the Hekima program for additional support which enabled her to gradually develop her business.

With the new loan she is going to stock up on rice, flour, and sugar and further build up her capital. The challenge for her business is price instability in the market.

She would like her children to continue their education and she wants to further develop her business. Finally she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide for business owners who do not have access to traditional banking, especially in the context of the Covid-19 global crisis.

The photo only shows the leader of the group due to Covid-19 and the need to respect social distancing measures.
