Elizabeth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for farm inputs and hire laborers to grow more crops on the farm so she can make more profits to set a good foundation for her children.

Elizabeth's story

Hello lenders!

Elizabeth (40-year-old mom of six) has always used the little she has to the greatest benefit. Today, she is able to meet the demands of her family, which makes her a respected woman in her village in the Makutano region of Kenya. With very few resources, she has pulled through.

She is involved in dairy and maize farming, and she also has a side sales business. Her work brings home important income. She gets help with the work from her family members. It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited available resources to expand the farm business. Elizabeth is seeking a loan of 30,000 Kenyan shillings (KES), which she will use to pay for farm inputs and to hire laborers to grow more crops on the farm.

With your help, Elizabeth will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be invested back into the business to fuel growth, as she wants to set a good example and foundation for her children. She really hopes for your help and contribution, and she thanks you in advance.
