La Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bread, meat, drinks, canned goods, fruit and other products.

La Esperanza Group's story

Sixteen women form part of this committee, who have a purpose to offer better living conditions for their loved ones. They are all part of a program to eliminate poverty, where they all help each other and look for the best way to get ahead.

Celia is one of these women. She is very proactive and entrepreneurial, and is looking for a way to be able to offer to her loved ones a dignified quality of life, and that they have the necessities. Celia has a small grocery store which she works in daily, starting early every morning, and she mentions that it is going well for her, her customer base always returning for repeat business.

She is asking for this loan to buy bread, meat, drinks, canned goods and fruit, among other products to sell.

Note that in the photo only one person appears, despite this being a group loan. This was due to the COVID pandemic and the need to avoid group gatherings.
