A loan helped to buy vegetables.

Cariñositas Rb Group's story

Liseth started working since very young, because she lost her father and her mother taught her to survive and move ahead, being the oldest in the family. Her mother took care of her two brothers while she started working as an assistant at a kitchen. She suffered a lot through the years, and then her mother got the idea to sell sweets as a street vendor. Since her earnings were not much, she decided to open a neighborhood store which did well, but because the rent was increased and she was not making much income, she moved to the apartments for miners where she does not pay rent.
She requested the loan to buy various vegetables to sell at a small market close to where she lives, and be able to pay for her family's expenses, because she has three children and her husband moved to work in another district, but the money he sends is not enough. This is why she started selling vegetables.
On the photograph there is only one person, because of having to maintain social distancing due to the worldwide pandemic. Liseth is alone on the photo, because she lives in a province, and because of the pandemic it is difficult to reunite all members of the group.
